Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pack up clients' personal property, detail clean contents, and inventory the items.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage and fire damage.
- Assist and perform other restoration activities, as needed, including but not limited to water extraction, fire damages, setup of specialty equipment, and demolition.
- Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
- Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
- Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
Position Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
- IICRC certification is a plus but not required.
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
