Fleet Graphics Production Technician Job at Vinyl Images in St. Louis

The Fleet Graphics Production Technician performs tasks such as weeding, masking, cutting, bundling, packaging, mounting, and shipping of vinyl graphics, flags, placards, and other products. The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as effective collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to learn and understand new information, techniques, and machinery to perform production tasks outlined above.
2. Ability to learn and understand new information, techniques, and machinery to perform maintenance and utilization of Production Department-specific machines including but not limited to printers, laminators, and plotters.
3. Ability to assist within other departments.
4. Constantly being aware of safety procedures.
5. Completion of all tasks and other required evaluations timely and efficiently.
6. Ability to be multi-faceted and coordinate multiple responsibilities when required.
7. Prioritizes quality while also being as efficient as possible.
8. Build good relationships with colleagues, and ultimately make a lasting impression.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to learn and navigate computer software.
2. Must be able to manage workflow and communicate well with team members.
3. Must be quality-conscious and work quickly under time constraints.
4. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Omega are preferred, but not required.
5. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
6. Gaining knowledge and understanding of new information, methods, and tools to complete production operations as described above.
7. Becoming acquainted with and mastering the usage of Production Department-specific machines such as printers, laminators, and plotters.
8. Handling shipping and receiving operations.
9. Maintaining accurate counts on store levels of materials, substrates, and other materials required.
10. Providing assistance across other departments as needed.
11. Being conscious of safety measures at all times.
12. Carrying out all assignments and other required responsibilities on time and productively.
13. Working to build positive connections with co-workers and customers alike.
14. Showcasing the capability to juggle a variety of tasks at once as needed.
15. Prioritizing quality while remaining as effective as possible.
16. Building positive relationships with workmates, leaving a lasting image.

Compensation:

$16 - $20 hourly
