Middle School/High School Librarian

Lincoln Middle and High Schools require a full-time professional Librarian beginning in July, 2025. This assignment involves overseeing the strategic and day-to-day management of the MS/HS school library, working collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and parents in the middle and high schools.

The position requires the following attributes and experience:

1. Minimum 3 years of library experience, preferably in international schools
2. A relevant degree and appropriate qualifications in librarianship
3. Experience with a Library Management System (such as Destiny)
4. Experience in supporting the IBDP Extended Essay
5. Experience in teaching research processes and conventions in collaboration with faculty
6. Experience in coordinating author visits, book fairs, and events such as reading week
7. Familiarity with various teaching resources including, where appropriate, digital tools to support and enhance teaching and learning
8. A love of books and a desire to inspire young people to read
9. Experience in a highly collaborative, innovative, professional learning community
