Middle School/High School Music Teacher (Instrumental / Band)

OPEN POSITION: MS/HS Music Teacher (Instrumental / Band) (Apply by November 15, 2024)

Lincoln Secondary School (grades 6-12) requires a Music / Band teacher beginning in July 2025.

Education:

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree and Certification in Musical Arts Education

Languages:

• Fluency in oral and written English required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools
• Experience in a highly collaborative, innovative, professional learning community
• Experienced with an inquiry-based, constructivist approach to learning and teaching
• Experience working collaboratively with peers in interdisciplinary units of instruction
• Experience or willingness to be a grade-level Advisor
• Experience using online learning systems (ex. PowerSchool, Schoology, G-suite/ Google Classroom)
• Experience in promoting a love of the performing arts and creating multi-tiered opportunities for student engagement
• Experience in leading and supporting extra-curricular performances and productions
