$36,779.00 - $43,120.00 Annually

Job Description:

A Library Technology Clerk assists patrons in the use of library equipment and library-related technology in addition to performing routine circulation and clerical duties:

• Performs routine circulation, reserve and overdue functions;
• Assists patrons in sign in and use of library computers;
• Assists patrons with basic computer operations, such as use of Intranet, email, printing, and Microsoft software;
• Assists patrons in the use of library-related technology, such as e-readers and other handheld devices;
• Assists library patrons with library’s website, electronic catalog, self-checkout, photocopiers, facsimiles, and printers;
• Monitors library equipment for proper functioning;
• Provides verbal directions and instructions to patrons; Issues library cards according to library procedures;
• Assists with programming for the public;
• Performs additional duties as required.
