Job Description

Role Description: The Analyst will inform marketing and campaign strategies by utilizing a strong technical acumen for understanding and interpreting data. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with data and is passionate about making data come to life in a way that inspires action.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze a wide variety of marketing data (website traffic, social media, email campaigns, CRM data, etc.) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and optimize clear, easy-to-understand reports and dashboards that track marketing performance, with a focus on KPIs like lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition, and ROI.
  3. Use both descriptive and predictive analytics to forecast trends and make recommendations for campaign optimizations.
  4. Support the product and performance marketing teams by leveraging data to identify new and optimized target customer segments and untapped markets.
  5. Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and present them in a compelling, easy-to-understand way to the LoopNet Marketing team, senior leaders, and other stakeholders.
  6. Create data-driven narratives that connect marketing performance with business objectives and goals.
  7. Collaborate closely with the product and performance marketing teams to align marketing strategies with data-backed insights.
  8. Work closely across the team (e.g., digital marketing, email marketing, demand generation) to provide insights that help optimize campaigns in real-time.
  9. Use A/B testing, segmentation, and other methodologies to ensure that campaigns are continuously improved based on performance data.
  10. Manage and optimize marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, etc.).
  11. Collaborate across the business to ensure proper tracking of marketing activities and alignment of data across platforms.
  12. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify industry trends and benchmarks that can influence marketing strategies.
  13. Stay up to date with the latest developments in marketing technology, data analysis techniques, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College in marketing, data science, business, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in a marketing analysis or data analysis role, ideally in a B2B context.
  3. Strong experience working with data analysis tools (Google Analytics, Power BI, Excel, CRM systems, etc.).
  4. Solid understanding of B2B marketing strategies, including lead generation, content marketing, email marketing, and paid advertising.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights in a clear and engaging way.
  6. Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  7. Comfort with querying databases (SQL, or similar tools) to extract and manipulate data.
  8. Knowledge of website tracking setups (tags, pixels, UTM parameters) and how to implement or troubleshoot them.
  9. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate data into insights that drive business decisions.
