ProSidian Seeks a Muskogee - VA VISN-19 | Court Reporter - Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center to support an engagement for Government - Federal (USA) Sector Clients. The Veterans Health Administration is America’s largest integrated health care system, providing care at 1,255 health care facilities, including 170 medical centers and 1,074 outpatient sites of care, serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.

  • This Non-Exempt | Contract Contingent position currently aligns with the Court Reporter Labor Category. Ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while engaging in productive dialogue targeting mission success.
  • Candidates shall work to assist program and project management in a functional area with educational and practical experience.
  • Candidates must be competent, efficient, and have the necessary training and education in Court Reporting with appropriate equipment to produce accurate, timely, and indexed transcribed testimony.
  • Candidates must be proficient in English to read portions of transcripts during proceedings and clarify inaudible statements as needed.
  • Candidates must be competent to administer oaths, and depositions shall be transcribed by a duly authorized notary.
  • All employees shall conduct themselves in the highest standards of ethical and business conduct.

The Muskogee - VA VISN-19 | Court Reporter - Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center requires consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and able to communicate via email.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Candidates must be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government’s requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidates must be able to (with or without accommodation): (1) bend, (2) pull, push, and lift up to 20 pounds, (3) reach, (4) walk, (5) stand and sit for extended periods.

CREDENTIALING AND PRIVILEGING: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have at least one year of experience in court reporting, and hold certification as a National Court Reports Association (NCRA) Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) or equivalent.

TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings or training requirements.
