ProSidian Seeks a Miles City - VA VISN-19 | Court Reporter - Montana VA Health Care System headquartered near Montana VA Health Care System to support an engagement for Government - Federal (USA) Sector Clients. The Veterans Health Administration is America’s largest integrated health care system, providing care at 1,255 health care facilities, including 170 medical centers and 1,074 outpatient sites of care, serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.
- This Non-Exempt | Contract Contingent position currently best aligns with the Court Reporter Labor Category and ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges.
- Candidates must be competent, efficient, and have the necessary training and education in Court Reporting with appropriate equipment to produce accurate, timely, and appropriately bound and indexed transcribed testimony.
- Candidates must be proficient in English to read portions of the transcript during the proceedings and clarify inaudible statements if asked.
- Candidates must be competent to administer oaths. Depositions shall be transcribed by a duly authorized notary.
- All employees shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.
The Miles City - VA VISN-19 | Court Reporter - Montana VA Health Care System requires consecutive employment in a comparable position within the past five (5) years. Candidates must be able to use a computer to communicate via email and be proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY: Candidates must be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government’s requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidates must be able to (with or without accommodation): (1) bend, (2) pull, push, and lift up to 20 pounds, (3) reach, (4) walk, (5) stand and sit for extended periods.
CREDENTIALING AND PRIVILEGING: Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalency and at least one year of experience in court reporting, holding the certification as a National Court Reports Association (NCRA) Registered Professional Reporter (RPR), or equivalent.
TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.
