Responsibilities
The Department of Digital Art and Design anticipates openings for part-time (adjunct) faculty in the Spring 2025 semester at its Manhattan location.
- Teach graduate courses in the fields of UX/UI Design and Development.
- Courses may include topics such as UX Design Foundations, Information Architecture, User Interface and Prototyping, and more.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience in the fields of VR/MR/AR, UX/UI, IxD, Voice, Robotics, Computational Design, and other emerging technologies. Experience in UX research, UX analytics, qualitative and quantitative user research, usability and heuristic evaluation, wireframing, prototyping, content optimization, data visualization, handoff, and project management is required.
Academic experience is a plus.
Candidates should have technical knowledge and proficiency in Unity, C#, JS, including SparkAR, Lens Studio, spatial tracking, image tracking, face tracking, hand tracking, spatial audio, XR, Google Assistant, and AWS Lambda.

The annual base salary range for this position is listed in compliance with local legislation. New York Tech considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience, education, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity, and market considerations when extending an offer.
Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.

USD $97.00/Hr.
Maximum Salary
USD $106.00/Hr.
