SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST - An NYC-based contemporary fashion brand looking for a full-time in-office creative strategist to join our team. We’re looking for a social media strategist who puts fun and innovation at the forefront of all ideas. Our social media strategist will work with the creative director on growing the social accounts, creative ideation, and influencer sourcing, management, and performance. This Role will report to: The Creative Director and Founder This Role will also work closely with: eCommerce Manager, Graphic Designer, and Director of Sales Overall Job Description: The Social Media Strategist will collaborate with the Creative Director and work tangentially to the eCommerce Manager, Graphic Designer, and Director of Sales to help develop fresh campaigns. The ideal candidate has a strong editorial mindset and a passion for creating innovative digital stories…and loves clothes, of course! RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute innovative social media strategies across Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging platforms to drive follower growth, engagement, and social-driven sales. Ideate, plan, and implement monthly social and influencer campaigns, leveraging current trends. Create, curate, and post high-quality, brand-aligned content, including photography and videography, tailored to resonate with the target audience. Shape and maintain the visual and editorial voice of the brand across all socials. Collaborate with the Creative Director and marketing team to align social media initiatives with broader brand objectives and seasonal launches. Own influencer marketing strategy, including identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with influencers to amplify brand reach. Assist in conceptualizing and supporting photoshoots, including on-set contributions to ensure alignment with creative goals. Analyze social media performance metrics and KPIs regularly, optimizing content and strategy based on data insights to maximize growth and ROI. Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and platform updates, bringing fresh ideas to the table to enhance the brand's digital presence. SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, media, communication, business, or other related fields. 1-3+ years in social media management and influencer for fashion-related company. The ability to develop partnerships with the Sales and Marketing Teams. Fluency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator or Photoshop) and Canva for the ability to make Instagram posts, email banners, and paid social ads.
