Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated and creative Instructional Designer. In this role, they will play a crucial part in designing and developing engaging training programs that empower third-party sales representatives with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve sales success. They will be responsible for creating both reactionary training assets and contributing to the development of al sales training program.

This role will focus on designing and developing high-quality training materials and experiences that effectively equip third-party retail sales associates with the knowledge and skills to successfully sell company products and services.

Responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities:

•Design and develop engaging and effective training materials, including but not limited to:•Job Aids

•Presentations

•Instructor-led training materials

•Videos

•Simulations

•Facilitator guides

•E-learning courses

•Collaborate with sales leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to understand training requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

•Conduct needs assessments and analyze training data to identify areas for improvement and measure the effectiveness of training programs.

•Develop and maintain a library of training resources and assets.

•Stay current on the latest instructional design methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

•Contribute to the continuous improvement of the sales training process.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
  • Develop training materials: Create engaging and interactive training materials aligned with learning objectives and business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with sales leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide feedback, and ensure successful training delivery.
  • Conduct research and analysis: Research best practices in instructional.
  • Conduct research and analysis: Research best practices in instructional design, analyze training data, and identify opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a job experience retail related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer in a corporate or professional development setting.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Expertise in developing a variety of training materials with a focus of inforgraphics
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using creation tools (e.g., Google Sheets) and learning management systems (LMS).


Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications (preferred):

•Experience in the sales or technology industry.

•Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software.

•Experience with gamification and microlearning.
