Job Summary:
Under the supervision of Faculty, the department of Communication & Media is seeking student assistants to assist with the Coyote Chronicle articles and publications.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Organize documentation submitted and processed for publication
- Maintain files (creating, updating, and organizing)
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by overseeing Faculty
Minimum Qualifications: Required Education and Experience
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work
- Follow oral instructions
- Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
- Special Qualification: Admission or registration as a CSU student.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain a 2.0 G.P.A. or greater per semester and cumulative.
- Students must be enrolled in at least halftime units at CSUSB (6 units undergraduate; 3 units graduate)
- International students must have full-time enrollment at CSUSB. (12 units undergraduate; 6 units graduate)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Payroll Requirement: Social Security Card
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in journalism and/or reporting, and writing.
Compensation and Benefits:
Student Employment Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour.
Position Information:
Work status: Part-Time, Temporary, Seasonal
Academic year available hours: Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm).
Summer available hours: Monday through Thursday (7:00 am - 5:30 pm).
