The Product Designer will be responsible for the support and development of new and existing products.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Environment: Work is performed in an indoor office environment. Frequent visits to the indoor shop are required.
Physical: Primary functions require physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements in the performance of daily duties; to infrequently climb on ladders or stairs; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to thirty (30) pounds. Personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel toe shoes and safety glasses, must be worn at all times while in the shop.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Designer will be responsible for the support and development of new and existing products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain manufacturing and general assembly drawings.
- Support the sales department with customer prints for the quoting process.
- Work together with design engineers and manufacturing to determine best methods of drawing practices for improved comprehension.
- Aid in research and development trials and testing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant industry experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:
- Proficient in Computer Aided Design (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
- Expertise in Microsoft Applications. (Excel usage for calculations, etc.)
- Experience in writing technical reports.
- Must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
