$54.40 to $57.71 W
orking Hours: Work is typically scheduled from
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m ., Monday through Friday.
Texas Region Preferred as possible in-person meetings may be required. No Travel will be paid . While the schedule may need to be flexible, it will not exceed 40 hours per week or

hours total. The contractor may be occasionally called upon for after-hours as needed.

mmary: The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is currently a CAPPS HUB Agency. This position, located within the Finance division, aims to review and assist in developing additional queries for the Financial Staff. The goal is to ensure that the staff can effectively retrieve meaningful information from the CAPPS System.
Mandatory Qualifications
At least 10 years - Experience with CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reengineering best practices At least 10 years - Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement At least 10 years - Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms At least 10 years - Experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas At least 10 years - Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products At least 10 years - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing At least 10 years - CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing, E-Procurement, AP, Cash Receipts, Inv, Assets and Grants At least 10 years - Query and Reporting Development with CAPPS At least 5 years - Experience with the All-Activity Query Logic in CAPPS Duties/Responsibilities This will include working with cross-divisional executives, directors and other stakeholders as directed by the CFO to review current TCAPPS business processes which will include but is not limited to:
Lead the All Activity Query Development. Design, Test and Build Queries to assist with business process improvement. Coordinate the necessary development of additional reports and/or queries as needed. Assist with re-engineering or develop processes necessary for efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system. Working with business customers to gather requirements for the system and/or process improvements and report development. Prepare detailed documentation in support of any of the activities listed above as requested by management. Complete full range of testing as needed. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
