This is a part-time, contract 1099 vacancy.

Contract= TBD, 5 Hours per week.

Position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, select, and lead music for all Catholic services.
• Rehearse and direct a choir, cantors, and instrumentalists.
• Collaborate with the Priest and Chaplaincy team to align music with liturgical themes.
• Maintain musical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure music complies with Catholic liturgical guidelines.
• Support community events and special celebrations as required.

The Person

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a strong background in music, with the ability to play an instrument such as the piano or organ.
• Is experienced in leading choirs and managing liturgical music.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of Catholic liturgy.
• Is an effective communicator and team player.
• Can work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
