Job Title: RF Simulation Engineer (Entry Level)

Location: Florida - Eglin Air Force Base - Eglin AFB, FL 32542 US (Primary)

Job Description:

Torch Technologies is seeking a RF Simulation Engineer (entry level) to assist the 68th Electronic Warfare Squadron (EWS), 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 SWW), at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 SWW is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF). The mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution, and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and test Mission Data (MD) to include EW simulation development and validation testing.
  2. Support EW system programming/reprogramming, coordinate programming & lab test requirements; organize and participate in MD configuration control boards.
  3. Assist with the collection, recording, and post-test analysis of data generated during MD testing.
  4. Provide expert analysis & assistance in threat emitter research (EWIRDB & other resources) to program high fidelity waveform simulations (A2PATS/CEESIM) for use in MD testing.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelors' degree in a technical/engineering discipline OR 8 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  2. Must be a US Citizen and have the character and background to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  3. Potential ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
  4. Working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software.
  5. Effective communication skills, both orally and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Current in-scope Secret security clearance.
  2. Previous experience in TECHELINT analysis (including SIGE 3810, 4810 and MESAP graduates), antenna design, and digital signal processing.
  3. Knowledge of EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, and systems engineering experience.

Note: The successful candidate may be required to travel, both domestic and international, so possessing a US passport or having the ability to obtain one is required.
