Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Analytics
Location: Boston, Massachusetts (Hybrid)
JOB PURPOSE
Our client is seeking an experienced Analytics Manager to lead digital marketing analytics for a diverse client portfolio. This role involves managing and mentoring junior analysts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering insights that drive clients' strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media planning and buying, website tracking and analytics, advanced analytics techniques, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Lead a team of 1-2 junior analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development
- Oversee end-to-end client deliverables, translating complex data analyses into actionable insights
- Develop and maintain comprehensive measurement frameworks across paid media, owned, and earned channels
- Drive optimization strategies through advanced analytics, A/B testing, and customer journey analysis
- Partner with media planning teams to inform campaign strategy and budget allocation
- Design and implement custom tracking solutions and analytics implementations
- Create automated reporting solutions and interactive dashboards
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics
- Strong expertise in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Proficiency in media platforms and performance analysis (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, programmatic)
- Advanced knowledge of tag management systems and tracking implementation (e.g., Google Tag Manager, TealiumIQ)
- Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets
- Proven track record of leading analytics projects and managing client relationships in an agency setting
- Experience managing and developing junior team members
- Knowledge of marketing mix modeling and multi-touch attribution
- Experience with statistical analysis tools is a plus
