Position Title- AV Technician (onsite) Location- Arlington, VA 22202 Duration- 6 month contract Pay:- $36/hr Required Install, configure, test, and provide technical support to audiovisual equipment to include projectors, laptops, desktops, sound systems, video conferencing systems, content management systems and digital displays. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support to clients and end-users, resolving AV and basic PC/MAC related issues promptly and efficiently. Collaborate with project managers, Vendors, and other team members to plan and execute AV events, meetings, installations, and upgrades. Perform site surveys to assess AV needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Document all installations, configurations, and maintenance activities. Stay up to date with the latest AV technologies and industry trends. Train clients and end-users in the operation and maintenance of AV equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in all AV-related activities. Other organizational technology project duties as assigned. . Required Experience. High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or AVIXA certification in audiovisual technology preferred. Proven experience with at least 1 year as an AV Technician or in a similar role.
