We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and forward-thinking Director of Sales & Marketing to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's sales and marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, and leading our dedicated sales and marketing team. This is a permanent role that offers exciting opportunities to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with our business objectives, promote our brand, and increase market share.
  • Utilize CRM and automation tools to streamline sales processes, enhance customer relationships, and improve sales performance.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the global market.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and coherence in go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage relationships with OEMs and distribution channels to expand our reach and increase sales.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of effective advertising campaigns that resonate with our target audience and drive lead generation.
  • Develop and manage annual sales and marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Forecast sales and revenue trends, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with 1099 reporting and other relevant regulations.
  • Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop a roadmap for sales and marketing activities, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales and marketing role in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems, automation tools, and other sales and marketing technologies.
  • Solid experience in managing relationships with OEMs and distribution channels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market analysis, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Sound knowledge of 1099 reporting and other relevant regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Solid experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in B2B sales and marketing, lead generation, and advertising campaigns.
