Job Summary
Come join a growing music program! We are looking for full-time and/or part-time musically talented and passionate teachers who can build on the solid foundation we have in place. We will consider candidates who are fully-credentialed, intern-eligible, and those who qualify for provisional teaching permits. Our general music and instrumental music programs are blossoming and we are hoping to add vocal music for the 2023-24 school year. Elementary students participate in general music and band instruction begins in fifth grade. At the secondary level, students can participate in band as a beginner or be part of the pep band and marching band (these are small but growing). Student interest in choir/Glee Club is high and we hope to begin a vocal music program soon. There is strong support for music from the community, Board, and administration. Music Secondary Instrumental - Part time (.6 FTE), Music Vocal - Full time (1.0 FTE), Music Elementary General/Classroom - Part time (.5 FTE)
Requirements / Qualifications
-Seeking enthusiastic instructional leaders to build music program(s).
-Required credential: Single Subject Music/ Interns Considered
-ESSA Highly Qualified in "Music" (proof of subject matter competence)
-English Learner Authorization
