As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer for a high visibility role supporting Prime Video Sports. This role sits within the Finance & Strategy organization, and provides opportunities for impactful contributions to the Prime Video business. Business Intelligence Engineers partner with finance, strategy, and other stakeholders to solve complex problems, including reporting & tooling automation, business analysis, and strategic planning. This role will oversee reporting and analysis of major sports properties, such as Thursday Night Football and UEFA Champions League. Key job responsibilities
Partner with Finance and Strategy Managers to design reports and analyses which answer important business questions. Build impactful, scalable data pipelines and automated reporting products. Produce meaningful, timely, and actionable analyses to inform sports business decisions. Design and implement metrics to measure effectiveness of new products. Work with Data Engineers, Economists, and Product Managers to optimize Prime Video reporting and analysis infrastructure and operations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
