Motion Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Senior Design Researcher for a long-term contract opportunity.

As a
Senior Design Researcher , you will play a critical role in driving innovation and delivering exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover meaningful customer insights, design and conduct end-to-end research, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations. What You'll Do Lead Research Projects:
Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research, including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and concept evaluations. Uncover Insights:
Synthesize data into clear insights, frameworks, and actionable recommendations that influence product, design, and marketing strategies. Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Partner with designers, product managers, marketing teams, and engineers to align on customer needs and translate insights into product innovation. Customer Advocacy:
Bring a holistic, end-to-end customer perspective, advocating for customer needs at every stage of the design and development process. Facilitate Innovation:
Organize and lead design thinking workshops, ideation sessions, and stakeholder alignment meetings.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years of experience leading design/UX research projects in a professional environment, preferably within a technology company or consultancy. Research Expertise:
Proficient in qualitative methods (e.g., user interviews, usability testing) and familiar with quantitative methods (e.g., surveys, experiments). Tools:
Experience with platforms like User Testing, Qualtrics, Figma, and Miro; familiarity with AI-native tools is a plus. Communication:
Exceptional storytelling, data visualization, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to leadership and cross-functional teams. Mindset:
Positive, solution-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or a related field.
