ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Public Relations Lead, you will take charge of maintaining and amplifying Jotform's media presence. With features in prestigious publications like Insider, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, Forbes, TechCrunch, and CNBC, your expertise in storytelling and media relations will be crucial to continue this exciting momentum. You should possess a passion for building media relationships and a proven ability to secure impactful placements.
This is an on-site position.
Your key objectives in this role include:
- Utilizing expert storytelling and creative pitches to promote Jotform's products and executive insights in targeted publications.
- Achieving a high volume of placements in tier-one and trade publications, interviews, podcasts, and other media platforms.
- Building and nurturing relationships with reporters, bloggers, and influencers.
- Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of secured media placements.
- Staying informed about news and tech/software trends, to insert Jotform into relevant discussions.
- Leveraging social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn to foster relationships with media and thought leaders.
- Collaborating with third-party agencies (such as Next and Kitcaster) to maximize Jotform's media coverage.
- Preparing Jotform team members and spokespeople for media engagements, which may involve conducting media training and preparation sessions.
- Drafting pitches and commentary for HAROs.
- Reviewing and editing all PR materials, including pitches, media lists, commentary, metrics, award nominations, and press releases.
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, either in-house or at an agency (experience with software/technology clients is a bonus).
- A solid understanding of journalistic writing and what makes newsworthy content.
- A proven record of securing placements in tier-one and trade publications.
- A high-energy approach with a passion for networking and relationship-building.
- The ability to collaborate effectively and engage with domestic and international teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Public Relations Management (PRM) tools such as Muck Rack and Cision.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
- Base pay range: $110K to $150K per year, with exact compensation based on skills and experience.
