The Role: Social Media/Content Marketing Manager – Full Time

The Location: This job is work from anywhere (remote). Some travel is required within the seven states we operate in. Must live in: Indiana, Ohio, Maryland or West Virginia.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Social Media/Content Marketing Manager to add to CommuniCare Family of Companies Branding and Communications team. You will report directly to the Corporate Director of Communications and contribute significantly to our brand awareness, digital presence as well as internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create content calendars outlining the schedule for publishing various types of content across different platforms
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and goals
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize content effectiveness
  • Seek out, write and produce internal and external stories that can be used across multiple communication platforms – blog, newsletter, social media, testimonials, videos, local news, etc.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Self-motivated and ability to manage numerous detailed tasks concurrently, with little oversight and in a remote work environment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills to create engaging and compelling content across various platforms
  • Experience with different content formats, including blog posts, social media, newsletters, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media trends and comfortable working with various social media platforms and management tools such as Sprout Social
  • Ability to use graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for creating engaging visuals
  • BONUS: experience with video editing software for creating and editing videos content

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of direct experience in social media and content marketing with a proven track record of successful campaigns and projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field
  • Not required, but preferred: experience in healthcare
