Studio Lourdes seeks a highly motivated Designer possessing background knowledge in retail, hospitality, and workplace interior projects. Candidate is required to have 3-10 years of experience in the field and able to provide a portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts.

The Role

This is your opportunity to work across a range of creative projects for valuable and notable brands within a vibrant and friendly community. The Designer will be responsible for:

  • Coordination of the design development for projects of variable scale.
  • Comfortably taking the lead on programming requirements with the client, creating mood boards, 3-D modeling, Photoshop renderings, CAD drawings, image research, material selections, furniture & lighting selections, test-fits, space planning, and development of presentations.
  • Engagingly and persuasively presenting work internally and externally.
  • Collaboration with consultants and client’s consultants to ensure high standards of deliverables.
  • Attending site meetings during the construction phase to ensure design intent is achieved.
  • Providing creative guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Effectively and efficiently delegating tasks.
  • Designing to a budget.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred, SketchUp for 3D modeling, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc. (Revit is a plus).
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, and workplace projects.
  • Knowledge of interior design styles and aesthetics.
  • Being a team player, forward-thinking, and result-driven with professionalism in mind.
