Genesis10 is currently looking for a Professional Research Photographer with our client located in Neenah, WI. THIS ROLE REQUIRES TO BE ONSITE 5 DAYS PER WEEK. This is a 12-month contract role with possible contract extension. Hours are flexible but the office is open from Monday-Friday between 7:30am - 8:00pm. No guarantee for a set number of hours/week. This role is strictly based on business needs and the number of studies being conducted per week. One week they could work zero hours, the next week they could put in closer to 30-40 hours, it's entirely flexible and there is no guarantee for hours. PLEASE PROVIDE PHOTOGRAPHY WEBSITE OR PORTFOLIO WITH RESUME. The pay is $50 an hour on a W2 basis. No C2C. MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER.

SUMMARY

A Contract Research Photographer is a professional who will use their technical skills and personal camera equipment to create the images required for research studies. The photographer will take high-quality images of child and adult research participants testing consumer products. The photographer will maintain all camera equipment, including lights, lenses, and tripods. After the images are captured, the Photographer will upload to the client's Digital Asset System following required standards. Editing of images may be required and will be completed by the photographer using client approved and provided computer and software. This person will also be accountable for the study participant's safety while photographing the participant. This person will work under the general supervision of the client Study Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Select, set-up and verify equipment for use in research studies.
  2. Properly light and photograph the subject.
  3. Troubleshoot simple equipment issues.
  4. Edit images as necessary.
  5. Work within the Digital Asset Management system.
  6. Follow directions of Study Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. 3+ years of professional photography experience.
  2. Ability to quickly adjust to complicated photographic situations.
  3. Strong problem-solving abilities.
  4. Ability to use different types of photographic equipment.
  5. Understanding of artificial and natural lighting and how it affects different settings, shapes, and skin tones.
  6. Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes.
  7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  8. High degree of empathy for study participants.
  9. Understand the Responsible Conduct of Human Subjects Testing.
