Position Overview

The Digital Marketer with a focus on SEO/SEM plays a critical role in driving online visibility, website traffic, and lead generation. You’ll be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies, managing paid search campaigns, and leveraging analytics to optimize performance. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll directly contribute to the success of our clients’ digital presence. This role also requires a confident, client-facing professional who is comfortable communicating strategies, presenting results, and fostering strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities

Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  1. Conduct keyword research to identify growth opportunities for organic traffic.
  2. Implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing content, metadata, and technical elements.
  3. Perform regular SEO audits and work with developers to address issues related to site speed, mobile usability, and indexing.
  4. Manage local SEO and reputation management for clients to enhance visibility in local searches.
  5. Monitor and analyze website traffic, keyword performance, and backlink quality, providing actionable insights.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM):

  1. Plan, create, and manage pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns on Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other platforms.
  2. Optimize ad copy, targeting, and budgets to maximize ROI and conversion rates.
  3. Implement A/B testing to refine campaign performance and improve ad relevance.
  4. Track and report SEM metrics, including cost-per-click (CPC), click-through rates (CTR), and conversion rates.

Content Strategy and Optimization:

  1. Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-optimized blogs, landing pages, and other digital assets.
  2. Ensure all digital content aligns with best practices for search engine visibility and user engagement.

Analytics and Reporting:

  1. Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush to monitor performance and generate reports.
  2. Provide detailed insights and recommendations to improve traffic, rankings, and conversions.

Collaboration and Communication:

  1. Partner with designers, developers, and copywriters to ensure cohesive digital marketing campaigns.
  2. Work closely with the sales team to generate and qualify leads through effective SEO/SEM strategies.

Stay Current with Industry Trends:

  1. Monitor emerging trends and technologies in SEO, SEM, and digital marketing.
  2. Apply innovative techniques to maintain a competitive edge and drive measurable results.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in SEO/SEM with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
  3. Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, and social media ad platforms.
  4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
  6. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
