  • As an Associate Manager of Retail Marketing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, external retail partners, and key stakeholders to implement effective marketing campaigns and promotional strategies across diverse retail channels.

  • You will play a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and analysis of retail marketing efforts that drive both short-term and long-term growth

  • Campaign Development & Execution: Assist in the creation, execution, and optimization of Walmart and Amazon Retail Marketing campaigns aimed at promoting UP&E Consumer Products in retail environments.

  • Collaborate with the Franchise Strategy teams and Retail Marketing Director to ensure campaigns align with the broader brand strategy and retail objectives.

  • Develop and maintain campaign timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.

  • Create and manage Amazon Advertising and Walmart Connect retail media campaigns achieving optimal return on ad spend

  • Relationships & Partnerships: Support the development of strong, collaborative relationships with Amazon and Walmart as well as licensee and agency partners.

  • Assist in the development of retailer marketing concepts to be pitched to retailers.

  • Help execute co-branded promotional efforts, in-store events, and activations in partnership with major retailers.

  • Creative Support: Work closely with Franchise Creative teams to develop impactful retail marketing assets, including in-store displays, signage, and digital display.

  • Ensure all retail creative reflects brand standards and meet the needs of each specific retail environment.

  • Partner with the Product Development and Sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing activities and inventory, product availability, and retail distribution strategies.

  • Partner with Global Finance teams to forecast and manage yearly budgets inclusive of generating POs and invoice processing.

  • Partner with Global Asset Management teams to ensure film assets are securely delivered to partners and in a timely manner.

  • Partner with Business and Legal Affairs on necessary contracts for each project.

  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze campaign performance, including sales data, traffic metrics, and consumer engagement, and provide actionable insights to optimize future initiatives.

  • Assist in preparing reports on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, highlighting key learnings and opportunities for improvement.

  • Market Research: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform retail marketing strategies.

  • Create and present Keynote presentations to recap campaigns and program results.

  • End-to-end campaign management: from conceptualization to execution and evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or similar field

  • 3+ years of experience in retail marketing, media agency, consumer products, or brand management creating large scale programs driving sales

  • Strong knowledge of Amazon and/or Walmart retail accounts, preferably experience driving Amazon Ads and Walmart Connect campaigns

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and consistently with supervisor, UP&E colleagues, and cross-divisional stakeholders

  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

  • High proficiency with Keynote and all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • A passion for retail marketing, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and the ability to execute strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, sales, and customer engagement in a retail environment.

  • Budget management experience.

  • Experience in the entertainment, media, or licensing industry

  • Experience working with creative teams on visual merchandising and in-store displays

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills

  • Adept at working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and be flexible

  • Ability to work and contribute to a team environment

  • Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail

  • Shopper marketing or retail marketing

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
