One of The Sage Group’s top clients is looking for a Sr Social Media Analyst for the AI and Developer tech audience, that is very strong with Brandwatch & Sprinklr. The client is a leading technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products that include online advertising technologies, search, cloud computing, and software.
Role Description:
As the Sr Social Media Analyst for AI tech space, you will frame and translate business questions into measurement & optimization deliverables to extract actionable insights. You know your way around social & digital data platforms and are excited to dig in to investigate performance. You are ready to track relevant KPIs tied to business outcomes, and to power optimization on Owned & Operated channels via deep understanding of the data.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with existing social analytics agency to refine & uplevel existing deliverables, implementing client best practices Manage all aspects of social analytics & listening to power owned and operated social media channels Establish the right cadence for & design deliverables to deliver performance updates & optimization opportunities for channels Ensure related tooling is maintained, ad-hoc questions are being answered; regularly present findings to channel leads Execute social reporting for campaigns Partner closely with agency analytics teams, ensuring use of internal frameworks for consistent reporting & measurement Track and quantify channel impact on marketing and business goals, uncover what’s working for our brand & other brands based on data & thorough understanding of social platforms Work with channel owners to develop real-time optimization model to improve content performance & influence strategy Support boosted social program, helping to identify boosting criteria, analyzing how boosted content performs and strengthens channel performance
Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience 10 years of relevant experience working in social media analysis for global tech AI brands, 3+ years focused on the AI tech/developer tech audience 7+ years of general marketing experience (preferably in digital) Expert level knowledge of Brandwatch & Sprinklr (or similar social tracking tools) Large scale program management experience, and project tracker samples Up to date w/ latest social measurement & industry trends Proven track record of ownership over social reporting for a large global brand Experience owning complex projects with the ability to think, plan and execute on multiple projects at once, in a fast-paced global environment Knowledge of other marketing analytics, media and brand measurement methodologies Ability to work outside of US business hours periodically Proactive and independent: works well with minimal guidance and is excited to "take the first pass" at analysis plans or reports, without prescriptive direction Ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies.
Location:
100% remote in USA, but ideally SF or Portland or NY Duration:
1 year to start, plus strong extension potential Compensation:
$75-90/hour DOE
