Ad Ops Manager
About the Role:
The Sage Group is seeking an Ad Ops Manager for our client, an American multinational transportation company that provides ride-hailing services, courier services, food delivery, and freight transport. Our ideal candidate has strong ad operations experience, including campaign activation, performance, strategy, and planning. In this role, you will work closely with the Partner Manager team to ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly and delivered successfully, exceeding goals and KPIs. To achieve that, you may be required to have a hands-on approach to setting up campaigns autonomously in our Ad Server or coordinating with our ad operations specialists team offshore. In addition, you will also serve as the liaison between the Audience Strategy and Creative teams as well as Engineering and Tech Operations.
Part of this role requires the candidate to have a consultative approach to supporting our Partner Manager team, by removing operational blockers, escalating technical issues and improving campaign performance. You will also participate at product testings and launches, development of SOP, and training material for both ad operations and the Partner Manager team.

What you’ll do:
- Deliver flawless ad execution for our Rider and Eats apps advertising products
- Own holistic campaign setup, ad trafficking, QA and troubleshooting
- Coordination of ad operations specialists to guarantee campaign success
- Function as ad operations consultant for Partner Managers
- Monitor patterns and collect feedback to proactively surface proposals to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
- Participate in cross-functional team decisions including new product launches and testings
- Work with Product and Engineering to identify changes to internal Ad systems/tools that reduce the occurrence and impact of bottlenecks
- Devise strategies to improve ways of working with partner teams, increasing efficiency and quality of ad campaigns.
Programmatic Candidates (additional R&R’s)
- Strong understanding of programmatic ecosystems and deal types (PG, PMP, Open Auction etc)
- Hands-on experience working with major DSP’s (TTD, AdX, Yahoo)
- Experience taking initiatives from 0 to 1 while working on projects with high degrees of ambiguity
- Experience working with many cross-functional partners to launch new strategies and associated partnerships
Basic Qualifications:
- Business administration or marketing degree or equivalent with hands-on experience working in digital advertising
- Minimum of 4 years in an Ad Operations role at a data-driven, tech-savvy company
- Mandatory experience working with Google Ads Manager (GAM) and video ad products
- Experience with tag management and third-party trackers
- Must have MS Excel and Salesforce proficiency
- Strong project management capabilities
- Ability to work cross-functionally with many teams

Compensation: $45-$55/hr
Location: Chicago, NY, or SF if Hybrid; if fully remote, then must be open to working some EST hours
