Location: Minneapolis, MN (3 days hybrid in office)

Pay Range: $50/hr - $60/hr

The Role This senior-level user experience designer will be responsible for delivering exceptional digital experiences through effective design, research, and testing. As a self-motivated individual who thrives both independently and in a team environment, they will play a critical role in shaping our product's usability and overall customer satisfaction.

Description Create end-to-end UX design solutions, including user flows, wireframes, and clickable prototypes to create innovative and intuitive user interfaces. Conduct extensive user research and usability testing, including but not limited to user interviews, card sorts, tree tests, and survey analysis, to understand user needs and iteratively improve the product. Analyze data and user feedback to identify pain points and areas for improvement, translating insights into actionable design recommendations. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including customer experience, digital product owners, developers, and marketing to translate business requirements into exceptional user experiences. Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our existing UI design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and adherence to best practices and brand guidelines. Craft engaging and compelling interface copy that guides users through our product, translating complex interfaces into clear and user-friendly content, while maintaining brand consistency and enhancing the overall user experience. Stay up to date with industry trends, UX research methodologies, and emerging technologies.

Skills Requirements

Demonstrates effective, confident, and inspired presentation skills; including ability to listen and respond to comments and integrate them into revised work. Ability to partner seamlessly with different members of the organization to understand the project requirements and goals. Experience demonstrating a high-level of conceptual thinking and inspired execution. Proven experience as a UX Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of successful projects. Proficiency working in Figma using design systems, creating low to high fidelity mockups, and crafting clickable prototypes. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple design elements and interactions. Outstanding research and user testing skills, with a deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis. Must be comfortable independently creating and leading a user testing and research plan. Strong sense of UI design, interaction principles, and best practices. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including UX writing expertise. Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Ability to work as the sole dedicated designer on a project/team while leveraging support from other designers within the organization.

Education & Experience Minimum Requirements

4-5 years experience required UX certification

Preferred Qualifications

6-7 years experience preferred Background in financial services or related industries is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience
