SUMMARY
This role is part of a hybrid PR & social media team but is primarily focused on social media management. The social media associate plays a key role in the development, execution and analysis of strategic social media campaigns. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, experience engaging and monitoring social media platforms, developing compelling content and working with the team to achieve client goals. Furthermore, candidates should have a strong attention to detail, be organized and data-driven.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS
- Daily community management for multiple clients across a variety of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Assist in the execution of strategic social media plans
- Develop engaging social content that adheres to best practices and pushes the envelope in new ways to drive engagement and deepen customer relationships
- Develop organic social media editorial calendars and monthly content calendars, including writing social media content following best practices, as well as brand voice and tone
- Collaborate with creative services team to develop engaging content including video, text, still imagery, animation and more
- Schedule content for multiple clients, leveraging social media management tools (Sprout Social)
- Identify, research, monitor, and engage with relevant influencers including bloggers and social influencers/content creators
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and/or quarterly reports for social media clients
- Professional client communication
- Closely watches and evaluates trends to drive our clients' business forward
- Adheres to project budgets as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Up to 2 years of experience managing public relations and social media accounts/campaigns
- Bachelor's Degree in public relations, communications, journalism, business, marketing, advertising, English, or other related field of study preferred
- Exceptional writing and organizational skills
- The ability to work quickly with multiple tasks and shift gears on a dime based on priority
- Agency internship experience a plus
- Experience with Sprout, Cision, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics and Monday.com a plus
- Weekend and outside-schedule work should be expected in the 24/7 social media news cycle; travel may be included
