LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Content Developer for a permanent position with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

The successful candidate will be required to work on-site 1x/week at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.

Language Requirements

Bilingual in French and English essential.

Key Tasks

  1. Work with subject matter experts to create and maintain knowledge materials in English and French to support internal and external stakeholders of the complaint handling process.
  2. Review usage and effectiveness of knowledge content to identify knowledge gaps and improvement opportunities.
  3. Assist project teams and process owners to identify training needs, gaps, and opportunities.
  4. Create training resources for different audiences in English and French including, but not limited to new employees, existing employees, remote, hybrid, client-service roles, internally-facing roles, front-line, and management.
  5. Utilize a Learning Management System to review effectiveness of created training, using a data-driven approach to continuously improve training content.
  6. Make determinations of how to leverage various principles of learning for increased knowledge retention and positive transfer of learning material.
  7. Leverage a variety of different training styles in the creation of training content (blended, on/off-the-job, e-learning, classroom, etc.).
  8. Work with different stakeholders within the team to support employee success and appropriate content creation.
  9. Incorporate feedback from subject matter experts and training facilitators into content resources.
  10. Support external content materials including LOOP (customer service and complaint handling software), complaint process information for service providers and customers, etc.
  11. Maintain Intranet site content and provide support to departmental and project content administrators.
  12. Other duties may be reasonably assigned.

Key Qualifications

  1. Minimum 2 years experience as a Content Developer or similar role.
  2. Experience creating training resources for different audiences in English and French including, but not limited to: new employees, existing employees, remote, hybrid, client-service roles, internally-facing roles, front-line, and management.
  3. Experience utilizing a Learning Management System to review effectiveness of created training, using a data-driven approach to continuously improve training content.

Qualifications

  1. You have relevant post-secondary education, such as a degree/diploma in business administration, human resources, education, or organizational development.
  2. Your communications and interpersonal skills are top-notch, and you have a knack for motivating and influencing others.
  3. You understand diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
  4. You have strong client service skills and are skilled in relationship management.
  5. You have impeccable professional writing skills in both official languages, particularly with the ability to adapt communication to a wide variety of parties.

Assets

  1. Telecommunications/broadcasting industries.
  2. Certification in learning and development, such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance).
