WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We are looking for a passionate, experienced Graphic Designer to produce high-quality creative that shares the Continental story as well as support Continental’s sub-brands. Thriving in both digital and print environments, the Graphic Designer will understand the importance of visual storytelling and the principles of effective marketing. They will work cross-departmentally with internal teams to execute a variety of projects, bringing them together from concept to final delivery, including preparing files for production, and do so while ensuring brand consistency across platforms and channels.
WHAT IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Design
- Design visually compelling websites, mobile apps, social media, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Understand project requirements, concepts and create design solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the development team to ensure digital designs are translated accurately and responsively across platforms.
- Assist in creating wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
- Develop web design and coding.
Production Design
- Prepare and optimize design files for print, ensuring they meet technical specifications and production standards.
- Develop various marketing materials such as brochures, print ads, posters, and email templates.
- Oversee file preparation and quality control to ensure accuracy in color, formatting, and resolution for print production.
- Vast knowledge of material printing options, selecting the best medium for each print production.
- Coordinate with vendors and printers to ensure high-quality outputs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Present design concepts clearly and be open to feedback, iterating creative accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align on and fulfill design direction.
Brand Consistency
- Ensure that all digital and print deliverables support brand direction and visual identity.
- Help refine and evolve the visual language as needed.
WHO YOU ARE
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or a related area of study.
- Minimum of 4+ years of professional design experience in both digital and print production environments with a standout portfolio showcasing work.
- Expertise in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience with responsive design for websites and mobile apps.
- Demonstrated knowledge of print production processes, including file preparation, color accuracy, and print specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with in-office team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS or front-end development is a plus.
- Previous freelance or agency experience is highly desirable.
