Front of House (FOH) Audio Engineer Job at North Naples Church in Naples

North Naples Church is accepting applications for the position of full-time Front of House (FOH) Audio Engineer. Working under the direction of the Director of Music and Worship Arts, this position is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of all aspects, design, development and implementation of audio and is a part of a team for creative media.

The schedule is 40 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday and as needed for concerts and special events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Audio Engineering (Front of House)

• Set up and run audio for all church services, rehearsals, concerts, weekly TVS Chapel services, and events at North Naples Church including recorded events.
• Assist in recording audio for video shoots.
• Mobilize and train audio volunteers.
• Regularly evaluate systems and initiate improvements and best practices when appropriate.

Team Coordination and Support

• Work with the team to ensure adequate weekly coverage for all audio needs, programming projection screens, lighting scenes, and streaming graphics software.
• Work with the Director of Music and Worship Arts and team members to coordinate and prepare for special events and large services.
• Assist Director of Music and Worship Arts with projects and duties as assigned.
• Create a culture of team building and empowering others.

Lighting

• Assist Production Manager with lighting set up for worship services on a weekly basis, throughout concert season, and for special events.
• Operate lighting board as needed.

Videography

• Operate cameras, shader, and switcher for services and events as needed.
• Operate four projectors for services and events as needed.
• Dub and edit video for livestream as needed.
• Interface with worship team and provide video support for worship services including promotions, announcements, and sermon support.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in a related field such as Technology, Audio Production, Media, Recording, or Music.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience and proficiency in mixing audio (studio and live settings)
• Proficient in Allen Heath D Live console or similar console required.
• Ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in operation of cameras, shader, switcher, projectors, and lighting board.
• Proficient using Mac and Windows, ProPresenter, Planning Center, Jands Vista (Byron), and Adobe Suite preferred.
• Strong understanding and experience in setting up and mixing audio for large concerts and musical settings including but not limited to rock and roll bands, orchestras, and jazz bands.
• Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail is required for all aspects of this position.
• Ability to manage large projects at the direction of the Director of Music and Worship Arts.
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a complex environment and embrace flexibility when priorities shift.
• Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to pass drug screen and background check via fingerprinting.
