National FFA
JOB SUMMARY:
The Social Media Specialist manages the National FFA Organization's social media platforms. In collaboration with the marketing team, they execute the day-to-day social media strategy and implement tactics, including crafting engaging social media content, writing, photography, and video; managing the social media content calendar, responding to and engaging with followers; tracking performance of various social media initiatives to improve business results; and maintaining the organization's social image through social listening.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop and maintain the social media calendar and reporting dashboards for all FFA social media channels. Collaborate with the department leaders to create a social media strategy. Create and share engaging content based on the social media strategy. Use social listening tools to identify influencers as well as issues the organization may need to address. Engage with followers and respond to inquiries. Follow brand guidelines in the design of social media content. Seek out and recommend social media opportunities, features, or promotions. Remain current with relevant technologies and trends in social media. Act as the social media thought leader for internal teams and FFA stakeholders. Other duties as assigned. Requirements
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social media management, including creating, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns A working knowledge of design and video editing software Excellent written/verbal communication skills Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure
