ARCHITECTURAL DECORATORS LTD is hiring: Bid Writer (AD033) in Kent

Established in 1944, AD Construction Group has continually expanded its service offerings to align with its growing client base and esteemed reputation. Specialising in a comprehensive range of decorating, building, and repair works throughout London, Kent, and Southeast England, AD consistently delivers exceptional results.

Currently, we are seeking a Bid Writer to join our dynamic Marketing & New Business team.

The Role

To create both written and visual content for the purposes of securing workloads. Manage all elements of bid and proposal writing to a winning standard.

Main Duties

1. Successfully work on multiple selection questionnaires and tender submissions through the various stages of the procurement process.
2. Read and review all associated client documentation with the bid.
3. Research and write information to support bids.
4. Assist with the development and maintenance of a library of responses.
5. Review bid submissions for quality and accuracy.

Minimum Requirements

1. Degree educated in English or another writing-based subject.
2. Bid writing and tender experience.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. High levels of attention to detail.
6. Experience working with a main contractor.
7. Experience with Social Housing and Local Authority clients.

Additional Information

Salary range: £40,000 per annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a one-hour break for lunch.
Annual leave entitlement of 21 days, in addition to bank holidays.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
Initial nine-month probationary period.
