Rate Range: $60-$70/Hr

Job Description:
  • The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing and delivering high-quality learning materials that support employee growth, *** technology initiatives and business operations, career development, and the rules and regulations that govern the workplace.
  • The ideal candidate must understand foundational instructional design models, manage (other instructional designer) team members, collaborate with subject matter experts, and be able to leverage the latest technologies to produce engaging and effective adult learning content with impactful, measurable goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop instructional materials and courses, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning solutions
  • Produce exceptionally well-written material, adhering to the standards established by the Microsoft Writing Style Guide
  • Design graphical elements to illustrate and reinforce learning materials
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of the content
  • Assess learning objectives, identify learning outcomes, and measure effectiveness
  • Incorporate feedback from learners and stakeholders to improve existing learning materials
  • Adhere to *** learning standards and branding
  • Manage and report project status
  • Evaluate and maintain existing instructional content
  • Stay current with trends in educational technology and instructional design methodologies
  • Perform all required tasks independently with little management oversight
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills
  • Establish a cohesive, relevant curriculum plan
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience and Instructional design certificate
  • Experience: seven to ten years of experience in instructional design and delivery. Work history with human resources, public utilities, and unions is a plus
  • Skills: Expert with e-learning, graphic, and video tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Canva, Camtasia, and Office 360
  • Project Management: Previous experience in a learning and development leadership role; or five years of instructional design experience
