The
Social Media Specialist
will be responsible for assisting in the content creation, publishing, community management and strategy related to Travel + Leisure Co's Panorama Travel Solutions Travel Clubs, like Armed Forces Vacation Club and Heroes Vacation Club. These travel clubs offer free and paid membership to give communities like the military, frontline workers, teachers and other niche groups access to great travel perks and discounts. The successful candidate will support the Social Media Manager + Marketing team on the Panorama Travel Solutions (PTS) side. Their projects and tasks completed daily will help execute the brand's social media strategy across various social media platforms. She/He will partner closely with the Enterprise Social Media team and related business partners to assist in creating top social media content to be published across social channels.
This is a hybrid role - in office Monday, Tuesday, and Wed
nesday and remote Thursday and Friday.
How You'll Shine: Handle requests for creative projects given and complete in a timely manner by Social Media Manager and business partners Contributor and creator for content on Facebook, Instagram, Stories and Twitter. May include future channels like Pinterest and TikTok depending on the overarching social media channel mix for each brand Manage Amplify Social budget (post boosting) on Facebook and Instagram to increase reach, engagements, awareness, and page views for our brands Responsible for owning and managing the monthly content calendar and scheduling/publishing/boosting monthly for assigned brands Monitors comments and engagements from followers on all owned and earned social media platforms and engages with the community daily Manages the daily social monitoring of the brands through our keyword match mentions on Sprinklr. Tags mentions as needed to roll up metrics for various campaign performance reports, press mentions, top trends/crisis escalations/issues Partner closely with our Social Media Care agents for AFVC + HVC to ensure any issues found in private message or listening can help us to pivot, move or delete upcoming posts Analyzes and develops monthly reports for published content, while working with Social Media Manager on implementing new strategies Send out reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis tracking KPI's and assessing overall performance for the brands Collaborates with Marketing partners on implementing promotional and key initiatives Helps to brainstorm new content ideas, creative templates in Canva, and ideate on channel strategies/new platforms with the Social Media Manager Attends planning meetings with the marketing teams to plan out monthly, quarterly, and annual editorial calendar with the Social Media Manager What You'll Bring:
4-year College degree in business, technology, graphic design, marketing, or communications. Technology aptitude and ability to quickly learn new tools and interfaces. Ability to identify, define and create detailed processes. Ability to develop and implement projects / content in collaboration with team members Self-starter with an interest in exploring new ways to communicate effectively by using different tools and techniques in the online world Must be highly organized with the ability to efficiently monitor multiple project deadlines Ability to build and leverage a strong network of peers and business and social media partners Ability to think critically and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to identify potential issues and resolve them before they impact production timelines Requires working understanding of digital and Web tools and technologies Ability to establish measurements and success metrics where none currently exist Experience and strong knowledge in social media marketing Strong knowledge of technology platforms Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate data Ability to communicate data patterns Ability to understand algorithms Microsoft Office Knowledge of Google products and services (including, but not limited to: analytics, research, SEO) 2+ years of experience creating content and using various social media platforms, analytics tools and applications, video, and photo editing. Technological understanding of Internet, WWW, and social media, mobile. Experience with Instagram Reels, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, video channels and other social applications. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Canva and/or other editing tools. Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement
