Overview

As the Library Information Technology Systems Administrator working for Hepburn and Sons LLC, you will provide support to the Engineering Support Branch. You will be expected to support and maintain the engineering technical library.

This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform clerical, administrative, and technical work to support the Engineering Support Branch to include:
    • Operation and maintenance of the engineering technical library
    • Responsibilities as drawing archivist and automated reproduction specialist
    • Maintenance of various contract files
    • Performance of other related clerical support tasks

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 2 or more years' experience working in a technical library
  • Must have experience maintaining technical publications, specifications and manufacturer’s catalogs
  • Must have experience maintaining an online computer service of master files that reference drawings and document indices
  • Must have experience in archiving documents, to include determining retention value and properly disposing of archives when appropriate
  • Must have experience in a customer service capacity to assist others in locating materials
  • Must have experience operating computer equipment (i.e., scanner, plotter, copier, etc.) to produce drawings and plats (reproductions) required. This will include reproduction of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) drawings that engineers created
  • Experience with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • A working knowledge of timekeeping systems, specifically TAAS and SUPDESK, Business Objects, and (MRQT) Material Requirements Tool
  • Active secret clearance with NACLC Investigation
  • Capable of bending, stooping, lifting
  • Able to work in an environment of low and high temperatures
