What You’ll Do
- In this role, you’ll be the strategist and executor for the organic social media program of a leading cloud, data, and AI platform. You’ll cut through the noise of generic social chatter and sidestep AI platitudes, amplifying our brand with a unique voice and engaging our community to grow our following.
- Develop and advance the global social media strategy, aligning with business objectives, marketing initiatives, and content/brand strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
- Manage and maintain the global social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and timely execution of posts and campaigns.
- Draft, review, and approve social media content while ensuring alignment with brand voice, tone, and strategic objectives. Offer feedback and training to content contributors with guidelines, templates, and processes.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of social media campaigns, from concept to delivery, including product launches, events, and ad-hoc initiatives.
- Conduct ad hoc competitive analysis and social listening to track industry benchmarks, identify best practices, and uncover opportunities to refine strategies.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, clicks, conversions) for organic posts and campaigns.
- Create and deliver monthly and quarterly reports, providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to improve social media performance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with senior leadership related to organic social media, providing updates on strategies, performance, and recommendations.
Who You’ll Work With
This role will be part of the Content & Brand Strategy team within the Global Marketing organization. You'll work closely with the Brand Programs, Content Marketing, and Creative Design teams from Content & Brand Strategy, as well as other Marketing teams, including Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Digital COE, Demand Generation, and teams across the rest of the organization.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, 4+ years in marketing overall
- Preference for experience in B2B marketing and social media
- Bachelor’s degree in business, humanities, arts & sciences, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and understanding of project management needs
- Savvy across digital channels and with various digital asset formats

- Skilled in educating team members on social media best practices to create high-quality content, knowing when to take responsibility and when to empower others.
- Strong editorial judgment and mastery of voice for brands, social channels, and specific audiences to increase engagement.
- Proficient in tracking and interpreting data, identifying trends, and applying insights to improve strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of emerging social media trends, tools, and platform updates, with the ability to build business cases that relate to business objectives.
- Able to juggle multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines efficiently.
- Continuously refining tactics based on performance data and audience feedback.
