Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Creative Director Assistant to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Creative Director to bring our brand to life through social media, marketing campaigns, and other creative projects. You’ll have a hand in shaping how we connect with our community, tell our story, and inspire customers to experience all we have to offer.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Management
• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
• Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Brainstorm and execute creative ideas for reels, stories, and posts to showcase our products, seasonal menus, and behind-the-scenes moments.
2. Marketing Support
• Help develop and implement email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Assist in creating marketing strategies and campaigns to promote events, seasonal specials, and promotions.
• Collaborate on content for the website, ensuring it reflects our brand and updates regularly.
3. Graphic Design
• Create simple and visually appealing graphics for social media, email campaigns, and in-store materials.
• Assist with maintaining brand consistency across all platforms and materials.
4. Content Creation
• Capture and edit photos/videos of products, events, and the café environment.
• Work closely with the Creative Director to bring ideas to life visually and strategically.
5. Administrative Tasks
• Manage calendars for content planning and deadlines.
• Organize files, assets, and project materials to keep workflows efficient.
6. Brand Engagement
• Stay up to date on industry trends, social media best practices, and creative tools.
• Collaborate with the team to generate new ideas for customer engagement and brand storytelling.
Qualifications
• Experience managing or assisting with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook).
• Familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp) and website platforms (e.g., Squarespace, Shopify)
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Strong photography/videography and editing skills are a plus.
• Passion for coffee, food, and building community.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A creative thinker with a good eye for aesthetics and branding.
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights).
• Experience in hospitality, food, or beverage industries.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Hours & Compensation
• Part-time or full-time, depending on availability and experience.
• Flexible schedule with potential for some remote work.
• Competitive pay based on experience.
