Verve Talent & Literary Agency is seeking a detailed-orientated Publishing and Office Assistant.

The ideal candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking and appropriately communicating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Operations/Office Support- Provide overall administrative support with tasks such as office supply ordering, acting as office liaison with building management, accepting packages/collecting mail, and maintaining a clean office area (including shared spaces and kitchen area)

Reception presence- Welcome incoming guests and answering NY Office main line.

Administrative Support to Verve NYC office and Publishing Team-Manage calendars and coordinate appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and time management.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, operations, or customer service role. Previous experience within a creative, publishing, or agency environment a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for handling client interactions and producing clear written materials.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop).
  • High attention to detail and a creative eye, especially in administrative tasks and operational support.
