Georgia Public Library Service is hiring: Full-time Library Clerk- Rabun County

Responsibilities:

• Check items in/out
• Register and update patron accounts
• Assist patrons in person and over the phone
• Pull books for holds and transits to/from other libraries, empty book drops
• Assist patrons with computers, copier, laminator, and scanner
• Assist with events and additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• G-suite and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Customer service experience
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Personable, flexible, and a hard worker
• Strong computer skills are a must

Knowledge of the Libby app, PINES system, popular authors, and the Dewey Decimal System is a plus but not required.

Details:

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• $14.50 per hour, Teachers Retirement System of Georgia (TRSGA), no benefits
