Role Overview
The primary focus of the Visual Merchandising Manager is to gain and maintain visibility for the brand both through visual merchandising and retail development.
Translate global visual merchandising programs into local activations across both Retail and Wholesale channels including visual updates, seasonal animations and evergreen concepts. Ensure excellent presence across the network. Develop custom materials with local vendors (from visuals to customer merchandising units to corners) as needed.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the visual merchandising strategies across all Retail and Wholesale points of sale. Ensuring all materials are up to date and up to brand standards.
- Manage timely inventory, ordering, distribution, and implementation of core materials into accounts. (Internal and 3rd party warehouses).
- Assist accounts in the correct merchandising setup based on product assortment and key initiatives.
- Cultivate strong client relationships. Communicate and educate account partners with regards to best merchandising practices.
- Create VM opening plan for new openings/renovations with HQ’s approval. Ensure all store openings are smooth and successful while collaborating with multiple departments (commercial, store planning, operations, marketing).
- Conduct monthly VM reviews with HQ on all doors.
- Animate stores with an emphasis on boutiques for seasonal campaigns (Holiday, Valentines, Father’s Day, etc) as well as for product launches. Implement Animations based on the brand guidelines but with an eye to the local physical space.
- This also includes rolling out new lightbox graphics per business needs.
- Update all decoration materials per HQ.
- Partner with retailers and HQ to expand and/or update shop-in-shop/corner presence.
- As needed, provide support to HQ teams, local architects, contractors, and other vendors on the build-out and maintenance of Panerai doors.
- Manage all associated Merchandising and Capital budgets.
- Responsible for Purchase Orders and invoice processing.
- Responsible for ordering yearly replenishment with HQ.
- Track and develop account profile binder to include photos of existing real estate, new program installations, and copies of POS orders. This also includes bidding and contracts with vendors (in partnership with Legal and Procurement).
- Animate events as needed
- Work with HQ on the design of the Design Miami booth (pop-up). Source and oversee the budget, engineering, production, installation, and breakdown of the DM booth.
- As needed, provide advice and support to Events and marketing team in regards to Brand events.
- Source and produce sales accessories materials locally with HQ’s approval (strap watch boxes, watch pouches, coasters, branded napkins, shopping bags, bookstands, storytelling signages, nameplates, etc).
- Coach and develop direct report.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in design or marketing field.
- Years of experience: 3+ years of relevant experience. Within a luxury setting a plus. Managerial experience a plus.
- Strong eye for the finished product including quality, functionality and aesthetics. Attention to details a must.
- Good team player.
- Candidate must be a self-starter with an ability to prioritize, work within schedule and budget.
- SAP, Adobe and/or CAD experience is a plus.
- Travel between 10% and 30% of the time.

Expected Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
