We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator & Content Specialist who can bring creativity, technical knowledge, and a passion for the outdoors to help create compelling designs and content. You'll be part of a collaborative team that drives engagement and conversions while maintaining our brand's voice and ethos.
Reports to the Creative Manager and collaborates closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure content is on-brand, aligned with business objectives, and resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Email Design & Development:
- Design and build visually engaging, responsive emails for campaigns, newsletters, and promotional communications.
- Craft compelling subject lines, preview text, and CTAs that maximize open rates, click-through rates, and overall email performance.
- Write persuasive, clear copy for email campaigns, integrating both technical specifications and benefits in a way that resonates with outdoor enthusiasts.
- Social Media Content Creation:
- Assist Design and create eye-catching social media posts (graphics, videos, and animations) for various platforms
- Scheduling posts
- Ad Design
- Assist in designing digital ads (banner ads, Google Ads, etc.)
- Ensure all ads are optimized for performance, aligning with Hyperlite's brand guidelines and marketing strategy.
- Brand Voice Consistency:
- Ensure all design and written content is consistent with Hyperlite Mountain Gear's brand voice, which emphasizes simplicity, durability, and purpose.
- Maintain the brand's ethos in every piece of content, from email campaigns to social media posts and product descriptions.
- Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and creative teams to understand product specifications, audience insights, and campaign objectives.
- Tailor messaging and designs to meet business goals and ensure alignment across all marketing efforts.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in a marketing, design, or copywriting role, particularly with a focus on email marketing, product descriptions, or digital content.
- Experience with outdoor, lifestyle, or technical products is a strong plus.
- Design Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar platforms.
- Experience creating responsive email templates and social media graphics that are visually appealing and optimized for engagement.
- Sales and Conversion Focus:
- Strong understanding of how to write and design content that drives sales and encourages action.
- Experience creating content that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates product value.
- Project Management:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to adjust tone, style, and approach based on different project requirements, audience preferences, and business objectives.
- Experience with outdoor brands, e-commerce, or lifestyle products.
- Basic HTML/CSS skills for email formatting and design adjustments.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, lifecycle email strategies, and marketing automation.
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for creating simple ad banners or social media content.
