Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator is a critical contributor to Silco's marketing team, driving the successful execution of campaigns, projects and initiatives that enhance brand awareness, customer engagement and business growth. This role requires a proactive, organized individual with exceptional project management and communication skills, a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will excel at fostering relationships, overcoming challenges and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project management:
- Coordinate and oversee marketing campaigns, initiatives and projects from inception to completion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business owners, ensuring alignment with their goals and priorities.
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, identify roadblocks and proactively find solutions to get projects back on track.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with strategic objectives.
2. Marketing operations:
- Social media management:
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to produce high-quality educational, engaging and informative content.
- Manage and grow Silco’s presence on platforms like Google My Business, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and reach.
- Events and activities:
- Plan, organize and execute marketing events, such as tailgates, trade shows and customer appreciation events.
- Coordinate logistics, communications and marketing materials to ensure events run smoothly and achieve goals.
- Collaborate on digital marketing efforts, including email campaigns, website updates and SEO initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all materials and channels.
3. Communication and collaboration:
- Work closely with the Graphic Designer to support video and photography projects, including:
- Assist with staging, script reviews and talent coordination.
- Conduct interviews and gather subject matter for compelling content.
- Provide input on creative concepts and final deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing updates on marketing efforts and incorporating feedback.
- Build and maintain partnerships with vendors, agencies and external partners to enhance marketing initiatives.
- Clearly communicate project updates, results and strategies to the marketing team and leadership.
4. Data and analytics:
- Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of campaigns, social media platforms, email campaigns and events.
- Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to improve future efforts.
- Track and manage budgets for marketing initiatives, including trade shows, tailgates, social media campaigns and paid ads.
5. Administrative support:
- Prepare and present marketing reports, proposals and presentations.
- Organize and maintain marketing resources, including content libraries, branding materials and assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, project management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, including social media management tools, Google My Business, Google Ads and YouTube.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as Canva, Salesforce, Pardot or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing budgets for events, paid campaigns and marketing materials.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking key performance metrics and optimizing strategies.
- Familiarity with the fire protection or security industry is a plus.
