We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Producer to join our Clients team. This individual will be responsible for acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing commercial clients. As a key member of our sales team, you will work to understand clients’ insurance needs, tailor appropriate coverage options, and ensure exceptional customer service.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Client Acquisition: Prospect and identify new business opportunities in the commercial lines insurance market through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other marketing strategies.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk analysis for businesses to recommend tailored insurance solutions that provide comprehensive coverage for commercial needs (property, liability, workers’ compensation, etc.).

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of commercial lines insurance products and services to accurately explain features, benefits, and coverage options to clients.

  • Quote and Proposal Generation: Work with underwriters to develop competitive quotes, generate proposals, and present them to clients in a professional and compelling manner.

  • Policy Review and Renewals: Review policies and assist clients in policy renewals, endorsements, and changes to coverage as needed.

  • Cross-Selling and Up-Selling: Identify additional coverage needs or cross-sell other insurance products to expand the client’s portfolio and meet their evolving needs.

  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team sales goals.

  • Industry Networking: Attend industry events, networking functions, and stay up-to-date with current trends in the insurance market.


Qualifications:



  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales or related field.

  • Licensing: Valid insurance producer license in Colorado.

  • Skills:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze and assess clients’ insurance needs.

  • Familiarity with commercial lines policies, products, and underwriting processes.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
