The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help drive informed marketing strategies. This role involves assessing the performance of marketing campaigns, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize Return of Investment. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of marketing principles, and proficiency in data visualization tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Analyze marketing campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations

Perform market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.

Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and performance reports.

Meet with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and assess campaign success.

Use tools such as Microsoft Power BI, and Excel to analyze and visualize data.

Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies, including digital, social media, and traditional channels.

Perform customer segmentation, audience building, and overall marketing campaign management.

Monitor and forecast market trends to identify potential opportunities and threats.

Manage and clean marketing datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Partners with customer experience executives on overall customer retention strategies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Data Analytics, Marketing or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. At least 4 years’ related experience is preferred.
