Communication Coordinator
Location: NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is hybrid which means that employees in hybrid positions are allowed to split their work hours between work remotely and working onsite at the NCCPA headquarters.
The duties of this position require that the candidate report on-site to the Johns Creek headquarters on a weekly basis and live within the commutable distance. NCCPA has defined commutable distance as within the state of Georgia and within 85 miles of ground travel, one-way between an employee’s primary residence and the NCCPA headquarters in Johns Creek, Georgia.

Established as a not-for-profit organization in 1975, we are dedicated to assuring the public that board certified PAs meet established standards of clinical knowledge and cognitive skills upon entry into practice and throughout their careers. All U.S. states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories have decided to rely on NCCPA certification as one of the criteria for licensure or regulation of PAs.

As the Communication Coordinator, you will ensure a successful organization and execution of NCCPA events/presentations and manage a strong social media present for NCCPA and nccPA Health Foundation.
How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
- Works under Senior Communications Manager to submit, manage and complete assigned job tasks within a project management software, i.e. Wrike and/or excel.
- Maintains presentation and exhibit calendars. Analyze and display data from engagements to build quarterly reports for board of directors.
- Serve as a staff member at NCCPA exhibit booths at major PA conferences, i.e. AAPA and PAEA.
- Coordinate review and purchase of NCCPA sponsorships.
- Organize and monitor budget items under NCCPA presentations, exhibits and events.
- Coordinate and organize all conferences, presentations and events for NCCPA and the Communications Department.
- Work with Coms staff to update fliers and slide decks with updated graphics, logos and registered trademarks.
- Manages social media to organize and curate content for NCCPA and NCCPA Foundation's so on social media channels. Engage with our community to build a strong online presence.
Hard Skills You Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or event planning.
- 5 years of experience in event planning and marketing.
- Proficiency with project manager software (i.e. Wrike, Sprout, or excel).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications especially in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
